Digest for seo-professionals@googlegroups.com - 1 update in 1 topic

Travel <romanterry@aol.com>: Nov 16 11:08PM -0800

Hi Daniel, This post is so old and yet no one took time to reply to you,
that's too bad, very discouraging. I have started groups and have a couple
groups now where this is how it goes. Anyways...

I was wondering what you were really trying to get at here, is it for
category titles repeating themselves? You never mention what you are
concerned with , I assume you are talking about "keyword spamming"? Using
a keyword too often? Yet you do say you would be changing the sub-category
often, which is what most people would expect in a shopping experience. I
mean the nature of the meaning of "category" suggests there are lots of
items within that group and that the more it is defined with
sub-categories, that is where we learn of more detailed landing pages.

The only time you should change any title is if you realize you can never
rank for that particular keyword phrase. or it is too expensive for Ad
Words. Never waste space on titles with generalized descriptions you can't
make money from, unless that title is the best thing that will get your
subcategory titles noticed. Does that make sense?. In other words, your
category titles, your subcategory titles and each landing page title should
be an opportunity to use keywords that get your company seen, they are
keywords that real people are right now typing into their little computers.

I can't imagine a keyword category getting penalized because it is
repetitious. If you always follow one simple seo law than you won't go
astray. It is as follows: Make sure every word you choose is on point for
the final landing page and that the word syntax is a perfect match. If your
category is "men's clothing" and one finally lands on a page displaying
baby carriages or women's purses, than obviously this is a problem. You
can't be seen as an authoritative resource if your page(s) syntax are all
convoluted. Its all about making your site as user-friendly as possible,
that is it really, even if means a hundred topics within one category, than
that is exactly what the URLS should reflect. As long as your URL is human
readable and on point, on topic, in relevance, with your URL names than
that is a good indication of good content.

With Googles Hummingbird algorithm one really has to make sure the syntax
is sharply defined and dead on point. I don't know my friend if that
helps though no one else spoke up here. so I tried. Take care-- Roman

[Inside AdSense] When writing for humans, it helps to think like one

Suppose you want to come up with a new way to engage your site visitors and attract more of them. You could lie on the couch and hope to dream up a genius idea... or you could try human-centered design.

Human-centered design is a creative approach to problem solving. It's taught by innovative institutions such as IDEO and the Stanford Design School and is often used to design new products.

[Inside AdSense] Signing up for AdSense is now faster and easier

We've made it easier and faster to apply for AdSense and get your account approved.

Starting today, you'll have immediate access to your AdSense account once you sign up. Previously, when you applied for AdSense, you'd need to wait for your account information to be approved before you could access your account and place ad units on your site. Now you can create ad units and place them on your site right after signing up for AdSense.

Sarah Riddell <sarahriddell61@gmail.com>: Sep 28 12:23AM -0700

HI,

I want to get daily revenues for multiple ad sense account using the PHP
MANAGEMENT API. I have downloaded the PHP CLIENT LIBRARY FOR GOOGLE APIs
that contains ad sense samples https://developers.google.com/api-client-library/php/start/installation
and some examples for AD-SENSE
https://github.com/googleads/googleads-adsense-examples/tree/master/php-clientlib-1.x/v1.x

Previously, i have configured Google Analytics & Ad-word PHP API to
access/manipulate reports, data etc programmatically with simple OATH 2.0
by giving some sort of client id & client secret.

Here actually i want to get daily basis Earning Reports from ad-sense
account with one time user consent & using refresh token for future
requests.(like Service Account Support).

Please provide me some sort of direction how to do that ?
How to setup a test Adsense TEST account to debug/test my codes?
How to set redirect URL path? i have never used that previously for Adword
or Analytics API.

Hi,
that is probably a Queries per Second error and not a Queries per Day
problem

If you look in console.developers.google.com at the Adsense API and click
Quotas you can see your "Per-user limit" is set to something like 1
requests/second/user

You may need to spread out your calls to the API

thanks,
Dean

Hi - Has anyone received this error recently (in the last 2 days)?

Error: { "error": { "errors": [ { "domain": "usageLimits", "reason":
"servingLimitExceeded", "message": "Serving Limit Exceeded" } ], "code":
403, "message": "Serving Limit Exceeded" } }

I checked my usage and I've only been using about 200 queries per day.

Could this be a temporary API glitch, or something more concerning that I
should be looking into?

Thanks so much for any comments!

This forum is for Adsense API <https://developers.google.com/adsense/host>

Hi,

we have been a hosted adsense API partner of yours for years. However about
2 weeks ago the program stopped working and we can't seem to get any replied
from anyone on your end about this.

Even our forum posts go unanswered. Here is the question -
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/adsense-api/TD0AhEwRkqE

"I am creating ads for associated a/cs using AdSense Host API 4.1.
Everything works from creating the association, creating ad units for
associated accounts and getting the ad codes.

For some reason none of the accounts are showing ads on their respective
pages. For ex:
s>
http://www.free-ebooks.net/ebook/The-Heart-And-Mind-Presents-Speaking-Images
the code is there in HTML but no ads are showing.

If it had been on few accounts i could have understood that the page is not
triggering ads but its happening to all associated accounts on our website."

Could you please help us. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

[Inside AdSense] Increasing advertiser competition on your site with the new richer text ads

To help you make more money for your image-only ad units, we previously launched the magazine ad format. Today, we're happy to introduce richer text ads, a new ad format that automatically creates image ads from text ads. The new richer text ads compete both for your text and display, and display-only ad units and could increase your earnings even more.

Digest for adsense-api@googlegroups.com - 1 update in 1 topic

Filippo Silvestro <filippo.silvestro@altervista.it>: Jul 17 01:13AM -0700

Hi,
I would like to bring to your attention the following issue: some of our
user with an AdSense account created with Youtube (hosted account) are
unable to display ads on their websites hosted by Altervista even after the
association to our host account. It looks like the association is performed
correctly, but the AdSense account remains locked on Youtube domain and so
no ads are displayed.
Can you please have a look at this problem? It is damaging us and we are
unable to give support to our users.
Here you are a list of publishers with this problem:
pub-8408711038534046
pub-9647796890609193
pub-8734057094841506
pub-6914776842121650

Moreover I also ask you if it is still impossible to associate a Google
account that uses AdMob or at least this problem has been solved.
