No one here addressed the issue of 301 redirects when taking a site from straight HTML (or one CMS) to WP (or any other CMS).

We can do this for you, but prefer the discussion of fees be taken offline. So feel free to contact us OFFLIST if you want to discuss it further; we've been designing and developing for WordPress since March 2004.

Design is nice, I have seen one page websites before as yours is and always
wondered where you stand in terms of SEO as you would be much better have
with one page for each aspect of your business. Furthermore, some might find
the scrolling confusing if they do not use the actual navigation and start
    using the scroll bar.

    Kind regards,
    Olivier

    Daniel,

I really like the one page concept. When the page loaded, I instinctively
used the scrollbar to navigate because I did not see a clear navigation bar
off the bat. Maybe you could make a floating navbar at the top or bottom
    (maybe even both).

I am very fond of your logo, simple, but easy to understand - given the
domain name. It needs to be cleaned up a bit.

As Ernest commented, the white space between sections is a detraction. White
space in general is a waste of real estate, but if your approach is
    "minimalist", it accomplishes this.

I understand the site is a work in progress. I think you have great
potential. Since the site is in it's infancy, have you considered making it
mobile friendly? Have you investigated the 1140 grid http://cssgrid.net/ or
    maybe the HTML5 boilerplate? http://html5boilerplate.com/

"White space in general is a waste of real estate"

No, I totally disagree. White space is integral to good design; it is a part
of the design and can and should be used as you use any other design
element. Without white space the design ceases to exist.

    Harold,

I should have been more specific... Excessive whitespace as in the example
site is a waste of real estate. I agree that a certain amount is needed to
get the viewer to focus on a certain area. However, in the state that the
subject at hand is in, it looks like something is missing or unfinished.

The white space looks great on the home page but i do think there is a huge
    gap before content.

only thing i dont like is that about is the second menu item but it's placed
3rd on the site and the portfolio(3rd option) comes before about.

so you click about and it scrolls over portfolio. click portfolio and it
scrolls back up. did no one else find this strange?

    Harold Delk <hhdelk@gmail.com> Oct 27 12:04PM -0400

    Chris,
That makes sense to me. I just deal with too many people who want to fill
every available space with something ... anything ... even crappy clip art
and, in doing so, destroy a design. White space, properly used, can
effectively lead the eye to focus on what you want it to see and remember.
