hi well Joe's comment annoyed me and seems to have annoyed others. :)

All further comments/replies should address Ravi's original post.

Ravi, I apologize that so many chose your thread to have a flame war.

No more comments to Joe here. Joe has been banned by his own choice
in a conversation we had off-list. I have tried to remove the
original comment replies that were negative but the stupid flame war
will obviously live on in emails and the quotes. I can't do anything
about those. I will address all this in a different thread.

All further comments/replies should address Ravi's original post, or
do NOT post at all. Remember, Ravi specifically asked for feedback
and if you are too good or too damn lazy to give it, do not post a
    thing.

No, you had a point? Mostly I find your posts pointless and self-serving.

    OK, Ravi...

Here it is, I don't like it. Mainly, I don't like it because it looks like
some mistakes have been made. It looks unprofessional, to me.

#1) I have a problem with any site that doesn't use a logo unless it is a
personal site. And even then, usually any professional will have a
professional typeface on his business card.

#2) There is absolutely no anti-aliasing in any of the text. All the edges
of the text are jagged. I don't know why, it could be that you are using a
bad font, but the same thing appears on several of your fonts. If you are
doing this in Photoshop I would expect it to render better. Even browsers
usually render text much better than this.

#3) The font choices are poor. It looks like you are trying to use Arial
Black, Aial Narrow and Brush Script? They aren't just rendered poorly, they
are common... too common. To top it off, the About Us, Products and
Testimonials headers appear to be in Arial bold, while the News and Store
headers appear to be in a different font like Arial Narrow.

#4) Nutts 'n' Spices is a misspell. This may be the company name, but it
doesn't seem that way or there would be a logo. And it doesn't appear to be
the name of anything (even the website) because you have "nutts and spices"
on the bottom. No capitals at all. Or is it a name? Of what? Rights are
    reserved to it? Unclear, here.

#5) I think the icons are too small to tell what they are in the upper left,
and like Joni I agree that the highlight color is unsettling.

#6) The maroon fade to red background may present to many design problems.
For instance, will the gradient continue on a longer page? If so, does it
wind-up pink? Reds are sometimes a design problem all themselves. You may
have to face some challenges to avoid pink, or you can embrace it, maybe
make the highlight color of the iconed items pink instead of yellow? Either
way, red designs present more challenges.

#7) The photo is of almonds and looks pretty generic. I would opt for
products sold, the plantation, the factory, an ag machine picking the nuts,
    etc... Something unique.

#8) I think you need to offer an alternative form of navigation. Not all
are familiar with top menu bars.

#9) I think you should have more emphasis on the store, less on the
    testimonials.

#10) With very little text there are some glaring misspellings.

Hope that helps. I am sure that you can easily improve on it with some
better font choices and more attention to detail. If you use the
maroon/reds design, that is fine, it will just present more challenges in
the future, usually. But I see you are already using some pink in the menu
background, maybe a gradient background? If that's what you want, great. I
    frown on pink stuff, usually.

haha thats black hat. I do know though that if your site is called
xyz.combut you have alot of backlinks with abc as the anchor google
    will display
your site when you search abc. Its great if you want to appear on the same
    page or above an competitor

but you should always use descriptions and keyword tags just fon spam the
former you only need a max of 10
