I am needing to implement a "Ring the Bell" feature on a homepage. When
the user click the graphic, a counter increases. Any ideas? Not a flash
guy and asp is not supported.

Hello berbes,
Although you will find that some people here are knowledgeable with SEO,
if you are serious about learning it my suggestion is that you become a
member at some dedicated SEO forums and popular SEO blogs. Not that the
folks here can't help you, but I feel you'll have a more rounded
experience at these places dedicated to the SEO topic.

do a search for Skyrim Blog. I am second. SEO is easy, the don'ts are:
- Spam
- too many external links (link farm)
- gaining too many back links in a short space of time (scrape box)
- cloaking your site so you are showing different content to google than
what your visitors are seeing.
- you can stick keywords in alt tags but if you put keywords in comment
tags google will slap you! you dont have to spam keywords.
- duplicate content is a no no
*Want good seo,*
- blog everyday using keywords, build backlinks with your keyword in the
anchor every day
- put keywords in H1 tag
- wrap keywords in strong tag.
