I am going to be moving soon and I am taking this opportunity to go
through two bookcases, and I am wondering if I should bother hanging
on to books about CSS 1 and 2, HTML 4, XML, XHTML, JavaScript, etc...
What is everyone opinion?

It depends on the nature and the age of the books. CSS2 would be good to
keep/donate. XML is still fundamentally the same. Why give out HTML 4 when
students should be focusing on HTML 5. Consider the age and the
market usability of the books, the donation idea is a good one, as long as
it won't mire the students down in technology that is partially or
completely changed.

It is a shame to see something so valuable such a shortvtime ago become
obsolete

Yep, same problem here ... rarely ever use FF anymore. Chrome is my browser
of choice. Checked wife's computer and her's loads fine though. Have no
clue as we are set up the same. Am not wasting my time to diagnose it
either.
