No, you won't be penalized for it. Most business websites do that. As a matter of fact, it helps you with local search.

    Hello,

It depends.. If you have a number of websites that are uniquely different
and offer different things then it will not matter.

If you have similar sites that are pretending to be different then the tel
number may give Google a pretty big hint that it is owned by the same
person. However, longer term Google will look at registration details, IP
addresses of both servers and ftp sources, as everything is recorded, so in
this case the telephone number is still irrelevant.

If there is confusion over "duplicate content" then that would not apply to
a telephone number. Hence, in any of the above scenarios it will make no
    difference..

There is a general consensus that Google trusts websites which it knows
everything about especially the identity of the person/people behind it.
It is a major part of why big brands fo well. It has been suggested that
using G-mail and linked Google accounts etc all help to establish identity
and hence increases trust. No idea how true that is but it does make sense.

Oh, It is normal thing for phone number. Duplicated content is a problem.
It is not only impact SE but also annoying our self. I hate duplicated
    content.

I'm wondering myself that whether I understand your question or not?

    H Anita,
Adding your link to Bookmarking sites don't work in my opinion. I would suggest you read SEOMoz and other seo relevant blog to keep yourself updated. You might not be satisfactory answers here.
