    So the big design question here is what they consider to be "above the
    fold"? Are they capturing the browser height metric and using it
    dynamically or just sort of eyeballing it? Does anyone have any info

    Scrap sites will be affected the most. When a user does a query and clicks on one of the search results page he or she should have to go scroll down 8 different ads to get to the content. Its not a good experience for a user, so I believe the site with ads bunched into their web page will be affected the most. I am sure the algo will also look at navigation menu and site framing.
