- AdSense Host API: Report dimension = adunit [3 Updates]

Hello,
we like to track numbers for each adunit generated with the host-api but
Accounts.reports.generate does not support adunit dimensions/filters. how
can we get this numbers?
We can create custom (host) channels for each adunit but i think thats not
the best way to do this.
Best,
Jan

Hi Jan!
I'd recommend you to generate reports with AD_CLIENT_ID as a dimension. If
your publishers have multiple ad units you can use custom channels to
discriminate among positions, for example: "Top ad", "side ad".
With that said, you can still use AD_UNIT_ID, but this is a limited
dimension in terms of compatibility. Try it and please let us know how it
works for you. Make sure you're under /accounts/ in the path.
Cheers,
Jose

Ah cool, AD_UNIT_ID is the one im searching for! Maybe you should add this
to the documentation here:

Hi Sean,
That is actually the correct combination. They are similar but not the same.
There are fields that, when submitted, can break the request, yes. You have
to submit a specific set of parameters.
Cheers,
Jose
