I have only just seen this thread. I have however previously ran an online
radio and so I would suggest you follow the below tips.
1) Be licensed. Ensure you get all needed PRS licenses etc...
2) Purchased dedicated Shoutcast streaming hosting for when you begin. Do
not expect thousands of listeners from the get go. Shoutcast servers are
easy to upgrade so save money and start small.
3) Radio app's are out there and can be purchased from online market
4) Do it sensibly and take your time.
