    Hi All,
in recent weeks some of our clients are complaining that some of the emails
they are sending to hotmail users do not reach them. Apparently they are
not even found in the spam filter.

I am guessing it is some kind of antispam system on Hotmail, even if the
    emails are perfectly legitimate.

Does anyone have experience with this?

I had such a problem with Yahoo! once. We built a system that was supposed
to send *Account Activation *emails to the users' email address. All of the
Yahoo! users complained that they were not receiving the email. A little
bit of research revealed that Yahoo! had updated its SPAM filter and was
completely rejecting mail from random servers. We tried changing the
content in the emails and taking off the heavy stuff (like pics etc...),
    but none of that worked.

Ultimately, we had to route the emails through GMail servers.

Typically these can be solved by having reverse DNS records in your
NameServers. They mostly use IPs to authenticate the originating server.
    RDNS helps with that.

    This might also help:

    Best of luck.
